Despite spending a quarter of the year on bikes and boards, my mental life was much less balanced. My goals and intentions didn't come to fruition due to a lack of planning, yet my spontaneous adventures led me to some incredible places and unforgettable people. I spent over 200 days outside of my home country, often in dreamy destinations for months at a time, yet in many ways I ended up in the same place I began. I didn't produce or share nearly as much artwork as I hoped. My work slowed down, and I watched my dad's health decline. Of course there were many magical moments too, but overall the year was full yet unfulfilling.
