Ending a year-long relationship produced my biggest shift of 2022. Quite frankly, I felt free to pursue my nomadic dreams without filtering my decisions and desires through a romantic partner. As a result, I traveled further and slower than I had before. I followed my heart, and it led me to incredible adventures with beautiful people. Work came and went like the tide, creating a natural ebb and flow to my schedule. Most of my time was consumed by both the challenges and also the thrills of constant travel. As a result, I gradually neglected many former priorities. November was a personal retreat full of writing, exercise, and reevaluating. I knew I wanted to keep enjoying nomad life, but I needed it to reflect my values, not just my adventures.
