From the start I knew it would be an unforgettable year. I had just sold nearly everything I owned so that I could travel full-time. Home was no longer a place but a feeling. The beginning of my nomadic journey was marked with play, as I attempted to refill an adventure deficit created by the pandemic. Life on the road made it easier to pursue my bucket list and catch up with friends all over the world, but it was a challenge to be productive or even find time for myself. Maintaining relationships honestly proved to be my biggest struggle, especially as the year went on. I constantly felt torn between traveling or spending time with my girlfriend in Brooklyn, unsure if either path would eventually lead me home.
